Fusion FC Policies
All commitments made to Fusion FC are expected to be kept.
Every individual on the team has an impact on the entire team. Consistent attendance with good focus and a positive attitude strengthens the entire group. Not only does the individual player grow and improve, but the whole group benefits and moves forward together. By the same token, when someone is missing, not only does that player lose out on important training, but the whole team loses as well because they cannot move forward together as a group. Players and their families make a significant commitment signing on to the team and we recognize that a lot is asked of players choosing to play soccer at the premier level. Game attendance is mandatory and players are expected to miss a game only in emergency circumstances or due to ill-health. Even if a player is not able to fully participate physically due to an injury for example, attending training and games allows them to absorb and learn from the sidelines and shows the rest of the team the commitment as well.
Trainings will be scheduled twice a week, with games on Sunday. Spring training will last a minimum of 8 weeks beginning the first week of April (with 7 league games).
The Club provides weekly indoor winter training from January through March. All players are expected to attend.
The team will participate in State Cup and other tournaments during the fall, in March, and during Memorial Day weekend. Additional games may be scheduled for friendly matches as part of training.
Fusion FC parents are to be supportive and not to engage in any coaching from the sidelines, as this interferes with the Coach’s objectives.
